Innovative real estate group, Asset Agents, are selling homes twice as fast as the Queensland average and its all thanks to the perfect mix of experience and a new approach, according to Managing Director and Principal Byron Miller.
According to RP Data, in the last 12 months residential properties spent on average 96 days on the market*, compared to just over half that with Asset Agents – 50 days.
Mr Miller said Asset Agents was very proud of this record.
“It’s no secret that the real estate market has been challenging over the past five years and yet during that time we have strongly established our group, grown and most importantly performed strongly for our clients.”
Mr Miller said the key to their success was that Asset Agents operated differently to traditional real estate agencies.
He said the group aimed to help homeowners and landlords from Coolangatta to Noosa sell, rent and buy their dream properties.
“The major difference between our structure and that of traditional real estates is that we focus on the bricks and mortar of our clients and not our own,” Mr Miller said.
“All our experienced real agents, property managers and administration staff make the most of modern technology and work from their own virtual office.
“This means we all get to experience a more flexible work-life balance which really motivates our staff to achieve our clients goals,” Mr Miller said.
“It also means our staff live and work in the communities in which they work and we can reward them for their efforts with better conditions and commissions because we don’t have the added overheads of real estate offices.”
For real estate agent Diane Fostin who has worked in the industry for 15 years, it was this flexibility that attracted her to the company.
“I live in the Caloundra area and not being in an office environment allows me to spend more time meeting and building relationships with people which is what I love about my job.”
One of Diane’s clients Joan Martinuzzi said that Diane and Asset Agents made buying her new home, and then selling her old one easy and stress-free.
“The unit had been my home but I wanted to sell it and buy a bigger house with my partner,” Joan said.
“We met Diane with my mother was selling a unit in a retirement village – she really listened to what we were looking for and found our new house for us and then sold my unit as well.
“She was great – she had excellent knowledge of the area and kept us informed all the way along. It was really stress free and there was no pressure put on us as I had experienced in the past.”
Mr Miller said because there were much fewer office overheads, Asset Agents was able to offer a much greater earning potential with higher commissions and incentives.
“Due to our quick turn over of property and demand, we are currently looking for experienced agents and property managers to join our virtual team,” Byron said.
Asset agents was launched in 2010 and has more than 30 experienced real estate agents from Coolangatta to Noosa. They are currently expanding and are looking for more experienced agents to join their team in Brisbane, on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts, and in Toowoomba.
