The Cotton Tree Markets, managed by Bloomhill Cancer Help, is a treasure trove of perfect Mother’s Day gifts, and they have a great competition in the lead up to Mum’s big day that offers extra rewards.
The Markets run every Sunday from 7am to 12noon at King Street, Cotton Tree and are filled with gifts handmade by local artisans making it a great opportunity to fine the perfect unique gift.
Bloomhill Cancer Help, General Manager, Mervat Quirke said there are a great variety of stalls offering jewellery, clothes, candles, spices, as well as art and décor decorations and much more.
And in the lead up to Mother’s Day, every purchase over $20 is eligible to go into the draw to an extra special gift just in time for Mothers Day on Sunday 11th of May.
There are more than 20 great prizes up for grabs in the Bloomhill Mother’s Day draw, which will run each Sunday from the 13th of April until the 4th of May.
Mervat said the competition closes on the 4th of May with all prizes being drawn on Friday May 9th, which is just in time for Mother’s Day.
“Mum deserves something special and the markets are a great place to find the perfect gift,” Mervat said.
The Cotton Tree Markets assists Bloomhill to provide support and assistance to more than 800 cancer patients on the Sunshine Coast.
Bloomhill Cancer Help is a Sunshine Coast based charity that provides support and assistance to those affected by cancer. Operated by a team of dedicated professional staff and hundreds of volunteers, Bloomhill offers counselling, transport to appointments, respite care and a range of complementary therapies and other practical help.
With no ongoing government funding, the charity relies on the markets, donations and fundraising to continue providing its valuable services.
