The Buderim Foundation has launched an appeal for donations of artworks. The intention is to auction these works towards the end of the Foundation’s 2018 Community Challenge to boost its trust funds, whose earnings are dedicated to making grants to local community groups.

The Community Challenge marks the 10th year of the Foundation making grants to support the work of these community groups.

In that decade, earnings on the trust funds, whose combined assets now stand at almost $1.5million, have enabled the Foundation to distribute almost $400000 in grants.

The art auction is one of several special initiatives undertaken in the 2018 Community Challenge year.
