Quality Lifestyle Alliance (QLA) will celebrate Disability Action Week with Super Spring Saturday on Saturday 20th September.
Super Spring Saturday is set to be a carnival style event that will deliver an action packed day full of fun and activities for the whole family.
QLA Manager, Kym Chomley said the organisation is excited to celebrate Disability Action Week with a day of family fun for the community.
“There will be market and food stalls, crazy hair for kids, emergency services demonstrations, wheelchair races and a cricket challenge.
“We are hosting a 5.00pm happy hour and are delighted to announce that blues musician Barry Charles will be performing from 6pm,” Kym said.
Kym said the day is a great opportunity for the organisation to let the local community know what services QLA has to offer the community and raise some much needed funds for QLA’s emergency support for people in need.
The event will be held on Saturday 20th of September from 11.00am till 9.00pm at the Landsborough Sports Complex on Tunnel Ridge Road, Landsborough.
Quality Lifestyle Alliance (QLA) is a fully accredited not-for-profit organisation which was founded 21 years ago when two people with a disability and their families recognised a need for a service to support people like them to get the care and support they needed.
The organisation was one of the first of its kind to service the Sunshine Coast region and provides in-home support for people with a disability across the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas. QLA provides a personalised service giving the client a say in the management of their care, which ensures the best possible lifestyle for clients and maximum independence.
