The Wharf Mooloolaba’s newest restaurant and bar,
The Dock Mooloolaba has 52 beer taps, with 16 different beers, across three bars and starting this Friday, there will be a Local Tap Takeover, with only local beers to be poured throughout the weekend.
The Dock Mooloolaba owner Jared Hart said the “Local Tap Takeover” will be a celebration of the restaurant’s four-month anniversary, and an opportunity to support and highlight our fantastic local craft breweries.
“We are very grateful to the locals and visitors who have embraced our restaurant and to all our suppliers who have worked with us, so we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate, than showcase our incredible local beer suppliers from throughout South East.
“We have 52 beer taps with 16 different varieties on tap so throughout the weekend, we will be pouring ONLY local beers including Green Beacon Brewing Co from Teneriffe, Sunshine Brewery from Kuluin, Diablo from Maroochydore, 10 Toes from Alexandra Headland, Your Mates from Moffat Beach, Fortitude Brewing Co from Mount Tamborine, Macleod Brewing Co from Maleny, Land & Sea from Noosaville, Newstead Brewing Co and Aether Brewing from Milton, Sunshine Coast Brewery at Kunda Park, and the Eumundi Brewery.
“During the weekend we will have reps from the breweries walking around as well to answer questions people have about their beers, and of course we have great smoked meats, char grill and classic foods to go with them – get in quick because we are updating our menu for autumn soon,” Jared said.
