The Wharf Mooloolaba and SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast will host the third of their very popular Family Fun Day for 2019 on Sunday, 27th October.
From 10am to 3pm on the Sunday, locals and visitors are invited to join in on any of the family-friendly activities available onsite including face painting, petting zoo, hands-on reptile display, jumping castle – all absolutely free.
There will also be free stand up paddle board and kayak hire at Sunreef Mooloolaba as well as three free river cruises with Coastal Cruises Mooloolaba.
The Wharf Mooloolaba Managing Director Dirk Long said the Family Fun Days were a way for The Wharf & SEA LIFE to give back to the local community who have been supporting the precinct during the past two years of renovation.
“So much has happened at The Wharf, and our Family Fun Days are a great opportunity for everyone to come down have some fun and check out the many exciting new activity, dining and retail businesses now calling the complex home,” Mr Long said.
“All of the Family Fun Day activities like the face painting and the jumping castle for example, will be free on the day, and there are plenty of activities to keep the grown-ups happy too, with boutique shopping and an incredible choice of dining options.
“There really is something for everyone here at The Wharf,” Mr Long said.
SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast are also getting in on the act, with admissions staff offering 1 free entry all day during the Family Fun Day to children under 14 years for every full paying adult upon hearing the codewords ‘Sammy the Seal’. *T&C’s apply. “To commemorate this milestone SEA LIFE along with our neighbours The Wharf Mooloolaba are thrilled to again invite the Sunshine Coast community to the precinct to help us celebrate with free activities for the whole family. We look forward to welcoming families to SEA LIFE and the Wharf on the 27th October to celebrate with us,” Mr Clarke said.
Mr Long said “people can come and enjoy a great day at the Wharf, choosing from the great activities and attractions like whale watching, sunset cruises, scuba diving and snorkeling, check out the attractions at SEALIFE, enjoy a fantastic meal at any number of the cafes and restaurants which have become destinations in their own right, and do some great shopping too.
“Where else can you choose from such a great variety of dining and retail options all with those stunning river-front or harbour views.”
